The Air purification process for microbial contamination by using AquaAir Advance Oxidation system often works by using an existing air system that pulls air through an air conditioning unit (HVAC) which passes through the professionally installed unique wave length (254 NM) Germicidal ultraviolet light in special metallic catalyst chambers to generate Hydroxyl, Super-oxide ions and hydrogen peroxides. As the malignant contaminant-filled ambient air circulates through these chambers, the microbes as well as odors and TVOC’s are "attacked" by free hydroxyl radicals, super-oxide ions and hydrogen peroxides (created by UV-C light and catalyst, just like the action of sun) breaking their cellular structure apart and destroying both the intracellular mass and DNA/HNA chromosomes. The AquaAir uses Advance Oxidation technology by which kills 99% of harmful microorganisms like bacteria, algae, fungi, virus, mold and other pathogens in the air and on surfaces, in areas as small as commercial conditional space or as large as hundreds of thousands of square meters. The Atmospheric hydroxyls are continuously produced by the action of sun's ultraviolet energy on oxygen and water in the atmosphere. There are, on average two million hydroxyls in each cubic centimeter of ambient outdoor air during day light. These Oxidizers are friendly oxidizers; we mean oxidizers that revert back to oxygen and hydrogen after the oxidation of the pollutant.
